Graham Woods – Piano, Organ & Keyboard Lessons in Kings Lynn & Snettisham
Hello there! I’m Graham and welcome to my website! On this site you will find information about lessons and contact numbers.
I’ve been teaching the Piano, Keyboard and Electronic Organ for 25 years and love every minute of it! So let me tell you a little bit about myself…….
I started playing when I was 8 years old (how time flies!) and did my 1st Grade Exam with the Central Academy of Music in April 1988 when I passed my Grade 4 Organ Exam! I completed all Grades with the Central Academy by July 1990.
In April 1988 I took my examination to gain my Junior Bronze Medal with the Central Academy of Music. In July 1989 I then went on to gain my Silver Medal & In July 1990, I gained my Gold Medal which was my last of the 3.
When I was taking lessons for my Grades and Medals with Central Academy, I traveled 150 miles on a Sunday every week, for years!
In December 1990, I moved exam boards and took my exams with the London College of Music, in which I start at Grade 4 and worked my way upwards…I then studied for 2 years at Norwich in which then I gained my L.L.C.M (Licentiate of the London College of Music) in December 1995 at Norwich.
In addition to my examinations that I took, I also participated in the Norfolk County Music Festivals and Broadland Music Festival.
In 1994 I was awarded Highly Commended Performance in Electronic Organ, and also in the same year, at the Broadland Music Festival, was awarded a Distinction Certificate.
In 1995 at Broadland, I was once again, awarded the Distinction Certificate in the Diploma Section of Electronic Organ. I have been entering pupils for the LCM exams and have an excellent pass rate.
In Septemeber 2008, I joined West Norfolk Academy of Music in Kings Lynn (formerly Musikademy) and been working there ever since.
Well I hope you liked my life story so far….so if you would like to learn either the Piano, Keyboard or Electronic Organ, go to my homepage and give me a call or email me.
